IBM Process designer Protecting toolkit -- Read only -


i looking way can share process designer toolkit in locked state, i.e. end user able use , extend it, not modify of content.

a couple of ways uncheck "allow users update toolkit" or mark read-only manage access 1 admin permission overwrite it.

is supported ibm bpm -- process designer?

once toolkit imported process center, there isn't way keep being altered. imported "allow users update toolkit" turned off, repository administrator can turn flag on.

if think there has path that, otherwise if had export , process center failed , built new one, unable continue alter toolkit, if had example placed export in safe place backup, because feature asking for, no process center original can alter toolkit.

also, based on how of controlled today, if, example there option suppress checkbox in ui, creating flag on db, , easy use database tool change value false true.

this 1 of underlying problems current architecture makes difficult sell utility toolkits. likewise there no mechanism prevent exporting toolkit given process center , using on other project want. in similar hosting solution public repository on github. once code there can't keep using or altering it, have hope if have financial model tied enough people right thing , compensate work.
