Some doubts about JavaScript plugin for Aptana Studio and Eclipse? What is the difference? -


i learning javascript and, coming java , php pretty confident eclipse , aptana (an eclipse version dedicated php , web development).

so using aptana , have following doubt.

reading manual speack eclipse plugin named javascript development tools (jsdt) (this one: http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/jsdt/ )

so think compatible aptana (because aptana specific eclipse version).

my doubt is: pre-installed in aptana installation? or pre-installed give me same behavior?

so done: click on help ---> aptana studio 3 ---> installation details ---> plugin tab , here can see list of installed plugin.

i can't see javascript development tools (jsdt) searching javascript stuff found following 4 plugins:

  • aptana javascript editor
  • aptana javascript formatter
  • rhino javascript plugin
  • v8 javascript debug ui

is jstd plugin or what? or similar dedicated aptana give me same behavior?

another doubt related last plugin found in previous list (v8 javascript debug ui). it? know can debug javascript script browser (using firebug example). why have debugger ide? used for?
