firefox - Multiple cookies with same name, domain and path? -


using firefox 37.0.2, in cookies dialog noticed (non-public) web site there multiple cookies same name, host (domain), path, attributes ("send for") , expiry (but different value).

why firefox keep of them, should not last 1 overwrite older ones? there property of them not shown in dialog makes them each different?

note: website uses/send single cookie.

apparently bug/feature in firefox. see: https://stackoverflow.com/a/8124860/822870

after closing , reopening cookies window, duplicates disappear. enough change search criteria (i erased search string, entered same value, single instance of each cookie shown).
