SharePoint 2013: "Download a copy" shrinks file name of a downloaded file -


i'm using sharepoint server 2013 russian language pack.

when in document library, choose "download copy" menu item in ecb on file, , sharepoint 2013 downloads file correctly (it can opened , file content ok), file name trimmed on local hard disk: downloaded file name couple first words long, in document library file name longer.

it happens on files have names in russian (cyrillic characters). files consist of english characters downloaded correct names appear in sharepoint document library. so, seems not connected url length restrictions.

i've contacted ms support , told me known problem. date hotfix ready on unknown.
