python - GNU Radio on Community radios -


i'm trying set gnu radio audio processor little community radio in town.

i've installed gnu radio , it's working, i'm not sound engineer, need help.

this installation:

mic & music player ----> mixer ----> gnu radio ---> fm emitter

i need know filters , modules set improve sound in workflow.

could of give me outline of gnu radio modules use?

since aim improve sound quality in our little community radio, right way achieve use audio processor software, @kevinreid said.

for records, 1 possible solution use schema jack:

mic & music player ----> mixer ----> pc audio processor ---> fm emiter

the pc audio processor gnu/linux based pc jack sound server , calf jack hub (calf.sourceforge.net) audio processor.

steps:

  1. install jack, qjackctl , calf.
  2. open qjackctl , start jacks server
  3. open calf , set filters want (eq, limiter, compressor, etc.)
  4. set connections take input, send through filters, put output (i.e. headset connector or lineout)

that's all. can done command line, @ startup, etc... shows main idea.
