i new agile development , have question: before start user stories not necessary make list of possible users software have? mean, in books read start user stories don't take time take account users , role play application.

user stories supposed describe features of software requirement user perspective user story needs center around people solution intended for. reason, it's important understand users or customers use solution. lot of agile books talk user stories neglect talk getting know users are. past this, , create better user stories, can use empathy maps, or character sheets describe users are. give them names , can go far giving them backstory. put in right frame of mind create stories; "why" part of user story.
