arduino - Not sure if programmer or ATMega is burned -


some time ago tried doing this original arduino uno r3. guess had plug power cables in wrong order(i think it's called reversing polarity) because arduino stoped working. turns on (the power diode on) cannot upload sketch on it. i'm thinking changing atmega chip but, before want it's chip issue ,not programmer. have arduino uno, , heard can upload sketch uno. idea is, if able whether it's programmer or chip issue. problem don't know how , wasn't able find reasonable tutorials online. please tell me do. many thanks, jan
